By downloading or using Walleta ("the app"), you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Description of Service

Walleta is a personal expense tracking app that allows you to manually log expenses, set budgets, view spending analytics, and scan receipts using AI-powered text recognition. All data is stored locally on your device.

2. Subscriptions

• Walleta offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions ("Walleta Pro") that unlock premium features including unlimited AI receipt scans.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

3. Free Features

Walleta provides core expense tracking, budgeting, analytics, and currency management for free. AI receipt scanning is limited to 3 free scans for non-subscribers.

4. AI Receipt Scanning

• Receipt images are temporarily sent through our server to OpenAI for text extraction. Images are not stored or logged.
• AI results may not always be accurate. You are responsible for verifying and editing scanned data before saving.
• We are not liable for incorrect amounts, dates, or categories returned by the AI.

5. Your Data

• All expense data is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to it.
• You are responsible for backing up your device. Deleting the app permanently removes all data.
• We cannot recover lost data.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the app, reverse-engineer it, or use it for any illegal purpose.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI scanning results will be accurate.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the app, including financial decisions made based on app data.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
