• We do not build advertising profiles on our users.
• We do not track your search queries after your session ends.
• We only access publicly available Instagram data.

Information We Collect

We collect minimal information necessary to operate and improve our services:

• Device Information: Device type, operating system, browser type, and screen resolution. This helps us optimize the experience across different devices.
• IP Address: Your IP address is collected for rate limiting, abuse prevention, and basic geographic analytics. IP addresses are not linked to search queries or personal profiles.
• Usage Data: Pages visited, time spent on pages, and general interaction patterns. This data is aggregated and anonymized.

Instagram-Related Data

When you use the RecentFollow search tool, the following data is processed:

• Usernames Searched: The Instagram usernames you enter are sent to our server to fetch results. These queries are used only to fulfill the immediate request and are not stored permanently or linked to your identity.
• Public Profile Data: We retrieve publicly available data from Instagram, including usernames, display names, profile pictures, follower counts, and following lists. This is the same data visible to anyone viewing a public Instagram profile.
• Analytics Snapshots: The mobile app may store local snapshots of follower data on your device to enable change tracking over time. This data stays on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.

We do not access private accounts, direct messages, stories, or any data that is not publicly visible on Instagram.

How We Use Your Information

We use collected information for the following purposes:

• Providing and maintaining the RecentFollow service.
• Enforcing rate limits and preventing abuse.

• Payment card details (all payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store).

Third-Party Services

Our service may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services. These include:

• Apple App Store and Google Play Store for app distribution and in-app purchases.
• Instagram / Meta Platforms for publicly available profile data.
• Cloud hosting providers for server infrastructure.

These third parties have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.
