Townloria – Privacy Policy
Effective date: 1 November 2026
Townloria ("the game") is a city-building game with a match-3 puzzle, made by Larisa Geanina Vizireanu, an independent developer in Romania ("we"). This policy explains what happens to information when you play.
Short version: we have no accounts and no servers. Your town stays on your phone. Purchases go through Apple and are checked by RevenueCat. Ads come from Google AdMob: children get only non-personalised ads, and adults are asked before anything personalised is shown.
1. What stays on your phone
These are kept only on your device. We never receive them:
- your saved game (town, coins, levels, progress);
- the name you type for your town or profile;
- your settings (sound, graphics, reminders);
- your answer to the age question shown before ads.
Save backup codes. In Settings → Save you can copy your save as a code to move it to another phone. The code is only shared if you share it yourself.
Reminders (for example "your build is finished") are local notifications set on your phone. Nothing is sent to us. You can turn them off in the game's Settings or in your phone's settings.
2. Purchases
You can buy gems, the season pass and No Ads. Payment is handled by Apple (App Store). We never see your card, Apple ID or billing details. The game only receives Apple's confirmation of what was bought, so it can deliver it. "Restore purchase" asks Apple again for things you bought before.
RevenueCat. To check that purchases are genuine and to restore No Ads, the game uses RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.). When you buy something, RevenueCat receives Apple's record of the purchase (which item, when, the price and currency) together with a random ID made by the game. It does not receive your name, email or Apple ID, and this ID is not linked to who you are. We use this purchase history only to deliver what you bought and to see, in total, which items sell. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
3. Ads (Google AdMob)
The game shows ads through Google AdMob:
- optional videos you choose to watch for a prize;
- now and then, for adults only, a full-screen ad after a puzzle win. There are none after you buy No Ads.
There are no banners. All ads are set to the General audience rating.
Before any ad, the game asks one age question.
- Under 16: ads are marked as child-directed and for users under the age of consent. They are non-personalised, and the game never asks for permission to track. Google limits the data it uses for these ads, as described in its policies for child-directed content.
- 16 or older: where the law requires it (for example in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland), Google's consent form asks for your choices. On iPhone, Apple's "Allow Tracking" question then asks whether the advertising identifier (IDFA) may be used. If you don't agree, ads stay non-personalised.
To show, measure and protect ads, Google AdMob may collect and process:
- device and app information;
- IP address and approximate location derived from it;
- ad interactions;
- the advertising identifier, only if you allowed tracking.
Google processes this as described in its policies:
You can change your ad privacy choices at any time:
- in the game, under Settings → Save → "Ad privacy choices" (shown where the law requires it);
- in your phone's settings (Privacy & Security → Tracking).
4. What we don't do
- No accounts, sign-ins, chat, or contact with other players.
- No analytics or tracking of our own, and no servers of our own.
- We don't sell personal information.
5. Children
Townloria is a family game. Players who say they are under 16 get only child-directed, non-personalised ads and are never asked about tracking. Purchases need the approval of the Apple account holder, and Apple's "Ask to Buy" is respected. If you believe a child's data has been processed in a way it shouldn't have been, contact us and we will help.
6. Your rights
We don't hold any personal data about you, because everything stays on your phone. Deleting the game deletes it. For data processed by Google for ads, you can use the choices above or contact Google. If you live in the EU/EEA, you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority (in Romania: ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro).
7. Changes
If the game changes what it does with information, we will update this page and its date. Important changes will also be mentioned in the game.
